2024 Best Boxing Gyms in the Dallas/Forth Worth Metroplex

So you've decided to pick up boxing or maybe you're new to the DFW area and are looking for a boxing gym near you. Looking for a new gym can sometimes be tough. Finding a good boxing club that meets your needs isn't always easy, but we've compiled a list of boxing gyms that can help ease the process. 

The gyms recommended are boxing gyms we've personally trained at, know coaches who train out those gyms, or know of fighters who box out of those clubs.

Not every gym is going to be the right fit for you depending on what your needs and preferences are. A kid looking to compete in amatuer boxing is going to have a differerent criteria to an adult looking to get in shape. My advice is to drop in the club see if the atmosphere is something you like.

Tristan Ellison Fitness

We first became aware of Team TEF through a customer of ours who trained with Tristan for years. At the time he was a highly ranked nationally recognized amateur boxer. TEF offers a variety of programs based on your goals like: senior boxing, Youth boxing, personal training, and amatuer/competiton boxing. If you're in the Frisco area give him a visit, you won't regret it.

La Bori Boxing Gym 

La Bori is non-profit boxing gym with a STEM based education component. The classes are free for kids ages 8-19 and offer low cost adult fitness classes on select days. This a great place to get in shape and learn boxing even if you have no ambitions to compete. If you're in the East Dallas are check them out.

Legacy Boxing Gym  

Legacy Boxing Gym is a non-profit aimed toward youth training and mentoring and competition boxing training.

Texas Select Boxing Club 

Texas Select specializes in competition boxing for amateurs and professionals. The coaching staff has years of experience coaching all skill levels from novice boxers to olympians and professionals. If you're in the Garland area check them out.

Paulie Ayala's University of Hard Knocks 

Paulie Ayala is a Tx boxing legend and former professional boxing world champion with many notable fights under his resume.  His gym is has been operating since 2004 and offers amteur boxing programs and therapy boxing for people who suffer from Parkinson's disease.

Maple Ave Boxing Gym

Maple is one of the nicer gyms in the Dallas area. They do a good job of having different style bags and offer varying sizes of heavy bags. At Maple you can get the fitness level of boxing training or you can get the full experience of competition boxing classes.
